The Olympia Theatre hosts in the renovated foyer of the first floor, the first permanent exhibition in the country for Maria Callas, with personal items and documents from the life and the work of the great opera diva.

Our collaboration begins with a concert accessible to everyone, Christos Leontis' historic "Katachnia" (The Fog), a work dedicated to the Occupation, the Resistance, and Liberation. The concert will take place on October 12th, the day commemorating the liberation of Athens, and will be accompanied by interpreting in Greek Sign Language, surtitling depicting the entire audio channel, and preparatory material in the form of audio/text descriptions.

Organised by: City of Athens Culture, Sports and Youth Organization (OPANDA)

Black and white image. A young man sitting on a rock playing a flute. Birds flying around him. His swords are hanging on a fir tree to his left. Goats are lying on the ground around the rock.
The cover of the emblematic album.

The concert with the City of Athens' Greek Music Workshop is conducted by Christos Leontis himself, accompanied by the singers Miltos Paschalidis and Ioanna Forti. The second part of the concert will feature songs from the composer's work. The Choir of the Municipality of Athens will participate and Spiros Papadopoulos will narrate.

Three people with subtle smiles: one with white hair by a mic (Christos), one with glasses (Miltos), and a woman with curly hair and earrings.

ATLAS E.P. considers this concert emblematic for many reasons, one of which is that, for the first time, the power of these historic songs will unite the entire audience. To this end, they have enlisted with honour a number of collaborators.
